We had our final parent workshop for the year and it went very well. We made our sandwiches for the party and the parents and children made bunting to decorate the Nursery.
The parents and children were very kind and wrote some touching comments about me and how I would be missed.
I would like to thank all the parents and grandparents for your amazing support and kindness. We have had a brilliant year and you have been enthusiastic about everything we have tried as well as being very supportive and encouraging to your children.
We had another very successful workshop today. We made all kinds of exciting things, including dinosaurs, butterflies, rockets and cards for Father's day.
It was lovely to see some new faces. Everyone worked really well together and produced some amazing creative work. We enjoyed the sunshine too when playing outdoors.
Next week will be our last workshop for the year.
Many thanks to everyone's continued support.

The caterpillars went into their cosy cocoons just before half term. Luckily Mrs Bradley took them home and placed them into the butterfly net in case anything emerged from the coccons. We are pleased to announce 5 healthy butterflies emerged from the cocoons and have been set free with the help of her children.
We have continued with our parent workshops this Summer and have created many different things together. We have made models from paper mache, woven pictures using natural materials collected in the school grounds, planted seeds, made cress heads and made dream catchers. Everyone has worked very hard together and taken on many challenges. It has been great to see so many families working together and enjoying learning new skills.
Enjoy looking at some of the photographs of the many activities.

What a great day had by all. The children were exceptionally well behaved and a credit to out school. Activities included listening to 'Red Riding Hood,' making a clay wolfs' head, decorating a wolf using forest resources, listening to 'Jack and the beanstalk.' planting beans, looking for different plants and looking after Simons garden. We saw some cows and even saw a flurry of snow before we left.
A huge thank you to our helpers who helped make our fabulous day possible.
With thanks
Mrs Bradley, Mr Ward and Mrs Wyatt
We started the Summer term with a very successful and exciting workshop. It was very nice to see some new faces. Our theme for this term is based on 'growing' and much of the work will take place outdoors.
We started with making grassheads and then made decorations from natural materials. Many people, including parents, made and decorated a squirrel. We shared our ideas and had lots of fun interacting with adults and children.
Well done everyone. We are looking forward to more exciting challenges next week

We had an enjoyable day helping to raise money for Comic Relief who fund many projects worldwide. We dressed up, decorated biscuits, made red collages and danced.
We have many children wearing their red noses and pullng funny faces for this very worthwhile cause.
Well done Edgewood for raising such a great amount of money!! Many thanks to all the parents who contributed so generously.

We had another successful and well attended workshop in the nursery this afternoon. We painted our clay houses, planted sunflower seeds in the pots that we decorated and created wax resist pictures as well as using Beebots and exploring role play.
Everyone worked very hard and worked well together.
One more workshop this term and then we can look forward to more in the Summer term.
Many thanks to everyone involved for such a great atmosphere and learning environment.
Many thanks also to the Family learning team.
